Training and Competitions
|
Training KRC offers members a variety of training events. Some events are open to non-members, although we would always encourage riders and non-riders alike, to join the Club and enjoy the full range of benefits on offer. We have a number of visiting professionals who are keen to share their knowledge and experience on a wide range of horse related and riding matters such as:
We aim to make the training events fun and enjoyable for all those taking part. As the Club grows it is hoped that the training schedule will grow too, and that it may be possible to arrange regular lessons with a local instructor at the Etherow Centre. Any developments will be posted on the Club website and in the Newsletters.

Competitions The Club has a number of competitive events each year including themed open shows, show jumping and dressage. We want the atmosphere at these events to be as relaxed as possible to encourage the less confident or less experienced rider to have a go. Again we hope to expand our range of competitions as the Club grows. If there is a particular discipline you would like us to offer please let us know and we will try to incorporate it into our programme of events.
